“A student in my office thought she could either make money or make the world a better place, but couldn’t do both. I told her you can do both. In fact, you have to.” Brian Brenberg
I am currently a student in Saint Joseph French High School. I am registered in the Math and Sciences track. I have always been interested in engineering, which has the ability to transform even the smallest discoveries into impressive machinery.
I have always defined myself as a “changemaker”, and I have decided that I wanted to create an impact. I have dedicated most of my time to “social innovation”. I believe that innovation is not important unless it benefits an organism – all living things, including plants and animals.
In order to make a difference teamwork is fundamental. I have been a team player as long as I can remember. I have been playing volleyball for the past 8 years professionally both at school and in private clubs. I have competed in multiple tournaments and championships. The most important lesson I learned was that to win we had to play a one, be happy as one, win as one, and most importantly lose as one.
All in all, my dream is to design and engineer a better world for ourselves and for our future generations. I have taken multiple steps in achieving my dreams such as prospering my knowledge in innovation, technology, and STEM fields. In each step, I take I will always remember to create impact and design for happiness.
